SecureGuides is an independently-run publication. We earn revenue through affiliate commissions when readers purchase products through our links, at no extra cost to readers. No vendor pays for placement or influences what we write. Our content is written and maintained by Amar Ghafir.

How We Put Reviews Together
A previous version of this page claimed every product was “tested for a minimum of 30 days on real hardware” with “240+ speed and privacy checks per product.” We can’t stand behind that specific claim, so we’ve removed it. What we actually do: cite real, dated, independently-published lab results and audits, verify publicly available specifications directly from each provider, and disclose real documented weaknesses and controversies alongside the positives.
